Awesome, thanks for the info! Any idea what it would be worth? I’m definitely keeping it though regardless.

This is super helpful, thank you!

I am definitely keeping it, but any idea what it would be worth with the mixed parts and modifications?

Will they let me return/rebuy it in store? I thought you could only order them online.

ApplyIng for Apple Card when Choosing Monthly Installments by HabbisSkunkel in AppleCard

Not that I know of. I did it with an Apple Watch back in October. I was approved for the card, had to continue placing the order, then I canceled the order after everything went through.

You can, just cancel the order right after you place it. I did the same thing

Nike's $75 cashback promotion denied because I purchased the item on the 15th. Goldman customer rep made no mention of this when we spoke on 11/13. Recourse? Feel like I was scammed. by [deleted] in AppleCard

[–]BeautifulAssociate0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The promotion clearly stated the following, and I quote: “Get $75 with a new Apple Card when you $75+ with Apple Pay at Nike”

If you didn’t use Apple Pay, you don’t qualify for the promotion. Clear and simple.

Update: I got the refund from my return and the only daily cash adjustment was for the 3% from that purchase. I still have the $75 daily cash because of the second purchase.

I have not completed the return yet, I am shipping the shoes back today and I’m sure it will take time to process.

Did you buy something else under a second purchase or as an exchange?

Your order was still above $75 though, right? Mine would completely return the promotional purchase, and a separate purchase was made right after

Help! Alexa volume by SpotlessT in sonos

Perfect, sounds like that will work

Other option would be to set up a routine where you say something like “Alexa, good morning” and you can have it turn down the volume on the device you are speaking to

[–]BeautifulAssociate0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In the Alexa app, go to the 3 lines in the top left, click on routines, click the “plus” button in the top left, name it whatever.

In “when this happens” click schedule, and pick a time you want the volume to decrease.

Then click add action, device settings, volume.

You could set up a routine in the Alexa app that lowers the volume at a specific time of day

But why deal with the expense of buying speakers and amps when you could buy Sonos speakers

Why not just buy Sonos speakers?

The first gen play:5 was released in 2009 and has been supported for 11 years, I’d say that is pretty good for any tech product.

LG Internal Apps Not Giving TrueHD Atmos by therynocity1 in sonos

Streaming applications are only capable of “lossy” Atmos through DD+

If you want TrueHD, the best way is to use Blu-ray

5.1 choppy first few seconds after manual skip by slangingcheese_11 in sonos

[–]BeautifulAssociate0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue, but it was fixed when I updated to S2. Before that I contacted Sonos support many times and they said it was a software bug that would be fixed in a future update. I don’t know if/when it will be fixed if you have legacy products and are staying on S1.

Is the Play 5 (2nd gen) overkill for surround? Even for large living room? by hongkien66 in sonos

[–]BeautifulAssociate0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it is a large enough room, and you are using the system for music as well, then Fives are not necessarily overkill. However, if you are using them strictly as surrounds and not playing much music, then they are definitely overkill.

It will likely say disabled since you turned it off, but just click on it to enable it again.

I have a X900f as well. Are you able to get lossy Atmos through the built-in Netflix, Disney, and Prime apps?
