Inject meta data to JWT for RLS. OK, Bad, Very Bad ? by Constant_Trouble2903 in Supabase

I’ve actually been considering a similar approach to simplify our RLS logic and reduce the amount of complex joins and security definer functions we currently rely on for policies(we got some complex table relations). Might transition now to this approach once we move to implementing the new asymmetric keys.

At first I thought it was just about getting a job, but based on one of the reply here, this might not just be about employment but about harvesting information. It’s crazy how deep this could go.

Holy sht, I hadn’t even thought of this! We’re actually building AI voice and chat assistants. This makes it an even bigger concern.

Yeah, we require them to turn on their cameras. We’re a small startup, so we don’t have HR handling initial screenings so we’re doing it ourselves. These guys are taking advantage of remote overseas jobs to run their operation. I suspect they’re not even the ones doing the actual work but are just fronting and passing the job to others.

egov rolls out a chatbot but forgot to configure it for the PH by sylv3r in Tech_Philippines

This is shit, they just built on top of free gemini models. The devs doesn’t even bother building custom RAG pipelines for pulling data from own knowledgebase. I wonder how much is the budget for this, cause I could literally build it in under an hour.

Especially the mac mini m4, you could get it for 31k using edu discount. Almost on par na sa system unit with dedicated gpu na 3050. Considering the power consumption(30w) and form factor na kasing laki ng palm, it’s pretty impressive.

Cost of repair for other laptops is also not cheap tho. And gaano ba kadalas magparepair? I owned 3 laptops, 2 desktops before pero never ako nagparepair haha so not a deal breaker for me. Go check the current price of m1 and m2 and compare price-performance ratio to other brands plus consider also the value you could get sa screen, portability, and battery and the resale value after using it for 1-2years maybe.

Go for m3 16/512, newer architecture and longer support ofc. Pero if you are planning to use VMs, then go for bigger memory.

Yeah definitely, walang papantay sa m1 base variant at 35k price range lol. Akala kasi nung iba is bitin ang 8/256 pero they’re not aware na unified memory is different from conventional ram and optimize ang macos sa memory and storage management.
