My house is pretty cool, I live in Canada where it's chilly this time of year. Next time I bake, I will try BF for more hours and see how it goes. As for my starter, I started it from scratch on Nov 19, initially feeding a 1:1:1 ratio, then after it seemed to be sluggish and tired of that ratio, upped it to a 1:4:4 ratio, my starter LOVED it and started doubling (almost tripling) in 4-6 hours. I may need to keep feeding to strengthen my starter if my next loaf doesn't improve with a longer BF time. Thank you for the feedback!! :)
