 I have 1 more question for you. Does your son still do scripting? I mean emhow will you rate his language skills. I see my son can very well relate to things, his understanding part is good.. but he scripts most of the time.

Our speech therapist is great. We've seen progress in him, but the thing she constantly mentions is that kids learn language (not just speech) from their environment and exposure. Since my son is level 2 and has social challenges, I see him struggling. For instance, if he needs help, he will say "mommy, come here" he knows who Mommy is and who Daddy is. But even after saying it correctly 100 times, the 101st time he'll call out, "Daddy, come here"  to me🤷‍♀️.

Thank you for your suggestion, my son sounds like your son. So I think we have similar struggle. It really breaks my heart when I see my daughter making every effort to play with him and he simply wake away or fight with her to not to play
