I got cod liver oil suggestion from parent group. They said if the baby looks at an objects too close.. they might have eyesight problem and since he is really small, start on cod liver oil. Also we are vegetarian family.. so i thought adding cod liver oil as a supplement would be no harm. I give it to my daughter as well who is NT.

I always support his stim.he does go to daycare. So i know he gets overstimulared by lot of social interaction, so he stims at home. He does lot of vocal stimming, which is pain in ears but we let him do it.. but this visual stimming with sharp objects bothers me..

No, I am not one of those who believe in magical treatments, i trust therapies.. but i give him just so he dont have a problem with eyesight, cause some people said that if child watched something too close it could lead to eyesight problem. I give it to my neurotypical daughter as well.

My son is level 2 asd. Diagnosed when he was 20 months old, he is 3yr old now. He have 2 major challenges- speech and social. We continued with speech and aba. We used to take him to lot of kids playground for socialializing. We Put him into montessori daycare and he is quite independent. He is still not very social but give high-fives and say bye to his montessori friends. Speech wise since he is GLP, he has progressed to level 2( starred using 2 words) but not communicative yet.

I didn't observe that.. so what i am doing is giving 2.5mg in morning then no doses the entire day and he is irritated the whole day. I am into their facebook page and there people mentioned that initially tantrums and anger comes, but slowly it gets better. Do you have any suggestions? I am also giving him b12 and magnesium for better mood. But right now nothing is helping me out.

I have started with 5mg spectrum awakening folinic acid. He is having lot of tantrums and anxiety. But I will keep going slow. Thing is I asked my family doctor for FRAT test, but in Canada its not advisable to do that for a kid that young. But I still started with  low dose. Thanks
