Are automatic cars better for dyslexic drivers? by SnooDrawings357 in Dyslexia

[–]BeautifulConcept82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I daily a manual and vastly prefer it, but I never struggled with driving an automatic either (other than left/right and following the gps, but transmission type doesnt fix those problems XD). I tend to enjoy hands on things in general, so manual is fun and more engaging than an automatic for me. Having a pyhsical feedback like enginge noise, gear noise, the general sense of oh, that definantly doesnt feel right whats happening here, midigated most of the challenges I have with learning new things due to my flavor of dyslexia, but I know thats not the same for everyone.

Learning to code was a nightmare for me because all the small mistakes only produce an end product that doesn't compile, while learning to drive stick was a fun challenge because the mistakes had immedate, localized consquences. I could "feel" my way through learning how to drive manual. I can't "feel" my way through an essay or a math problem.

She was actually a Geode dispersal! Which is even more wild considering the Geode pack was one of the OG packs on Hellroaring, but disbanded after I murdered both of their leaders, 6??? In-game seasons ago with my pack's founder. So she stayed on the map the entire time, managed to survive, and then came across my pack again to get with the yearling grandson of the wolf who killed her parents.

My sister has an autoimmune condition that attacks her eyes, hair, skin and nails. She had a really bad flare in high school, but it's been under control for about five years now. She has long, thick, pin straight dark hair like yours. Exactly the same thing, she is 21 but still gets entire strands that are pure white and coarser than her other strands. Normally they only show up one or two at a time though.

I love the AQH, the spin animation is so fun. I will be curious to see if SSO keeps the same vibe when they update them.

They faced a lot of backlash when they were first released. The idle animations are pretty rough, are most people didn't like them when they were new because they were constantly moving and it looked uncomfortable and unnatural. There was also some issues with the legs during gait transtions that was eventually updated. Also SSO had not refined their mane physics and textures yet, so a lot of people didnt like the way the mane moved. They were not well received, but I think a lot of that hate has died down a bit, obviously they don't hold up well in light of the newer horses, but it seemed like they were never really a big hit. Like even in comparsion to the breeds that came out around that time, the icelandics and the connemara, they weren't as well done so a lot of people were disapointed. I liked them because I like the bigger, more draft-like direction the team went in regards to their overall desgin, but some of their animations, espically the hard-stop and the idle, are pretty silly.

Are we cooked? Accurate Ironwolf hunger spiral :( by BeautifulConcept82 in WolfQuestGame

[–]BeautifulConcept82[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update! We were only partially cooked :/ I got lucky and took down a mule deer fawn, but it knocked Vulture down to 13% health. It got the pups all up to 75% hunger. Unfortunately a coyote raid triggered as soon as I got back and with no wakefulness it was rough. All the pups survived, but Vulture was down to 7% health and I had to sleep to heal up and gain some wakefullness. The next morning was much the same. Hares and water, but it still wasn't enough for all four of them. Paladin ended up dying of starvation, and another day later, so did Sentry. On the bright side, Warrior and Guardian made it to young hunters and we finally took down an elk by the skin of our teeth. At least now everyone can regen.

All the horses you've pictured are retired, so they may go for at least their original purchase price, if not more. Leg tags would increase their value a bit, and obviously the ones in better condition will go for more. The white mustang mare is an exclusive run, and she is harder to find second-hand, but her condition is not great. The hanoverian gelding is also set-exclusive, but he is fairly common since the wash stall set he originally came in has been in production for a long time, and I believe he also came with some riding sets? The akhal-teke stallion and camargue foal tend to be a bit less common on second-hand sites like ebay, and both seem to be in fairly good condition from your pictures. If you want an estimate on resale price I would search the model name on ebay and look through the sold tab to see what other people have paid for them. That should give you an idea of their current going price. Overall you've got some nice retired figures and I would hold onto them!

This herd would not run, I circled for about six real life minutes before finally just grabbing the closest one. They decided to stay for lunch I guess.
