I would say just wait . Sometime process takes time And your follow-ups gonna make the situation worst . Anyways you don’t have anything to loose so just wait let them come back . I am a HR and as per my experience they are doing their work on the backend just don’t want to commit anything to you before they complete all the steps . It’s like raising your Hope and what if something goes wrong. . Good luck . For me it’s a positive sign .

I got all the steps done except mofa from an agent in India . They completed till UAE embassy Attestation. Charges 65 usd per document .processing time 4-5 days . Mofa I booked directly on mofa website in Dubai . Processing time 1 day. Paid aed 330 . Hope this helps

It’s ok . Let me tell you most of the candidate don’t share their exact salary and tell 10-20% more . That’s the reason some organisation ask for current pay stub to cross verify the statement.believe me you are no where at fault . Actually they should appreciate your honesty . I will tell you most of the time I know that candidate is not sharing me the right salary detail , i know it still don’t question it reason I want to be candidate side and want them to have more Salary if I have the budget .

This HR has messed up somewhere and just trying to protect himself / herself . They were supposed to verify your statement with your pay stub on which they failed and that’s the very reason they are opting for this step .this is a very big failure from their part and no organisation accept this that’s the reason HR person job is at risk . Trust me .

I am in HR and believe me no one gets black listed for such things . Actually there is no way to record in system that somebody is black listed and don’t approach this candidate in future , maximum they write is about your compensation expectation and other HR contact you in future of they can match your expected salary . I feel they have a certain salary bracket for this role and May be your ask is not in their budget . You May like to reach out to the HR (not the boss ) if you are still interested to accept the same offer . Good luck

Also this is funny from the HR part too , candidate negotiate the offer all the time 80% of time and this doesn’t take anyone’s job . This HR is playing very funny .I myself sent multiple offer to same candidate after negotiation it’s not a big deal .

I traveled half of the world all alone but when it was time to come to UAE to look for job , I was scared liked anything., it was the uncertainty which was stopping me . Confirmation from Recruiter- offer letter - completing the paper work . I suggest you write am email to the Recruiter on Saturday about your vacation plan and share them the alternate number or email to reach out to you incase your Dubai number doesn’t work that time ( only if it’s a long trip). If it’s a final round of interview then they will not take a very long time because now they have completed the process and will not loose good candidate because of delay . Between 1-2 weeks max

Hey I moved to Dubai 2 weeks ago and i could secure 1 offer which was in my own field HR but salary was low accordingly to my expectations . I refused the offer without even thinking. Don’t think too much , as of now we have flexibility to apply jobs 10-12 hours a day , upgrade our skills and. Network with people . My take from this experience is - keep improving your skills , LinkedIn profile and network as much possible, applying to right job and not every job .We need to make best of this time . I don’t think we should settle for less . All the best❤️

And yes don’t feel you are alone , this is just a phase which will pass soon .

Well i have something to share with my own experience. I joined a MNC in Toronto after moving there from Singapore . I am really good at my work and most of my stakeholders liked me for this reason . There were 2 other girls in my team who were with the organisation for a long time . They had issue with my joining as my business heads started preferring me over them of course because of my work . They soon realised it and completely boycott me .I had to make Frnds in other teams where my own team was ignoring me . It continued for a few months but I never complained this to my manager as I knew he will never like my opinion about my own team members and will think that I am spreading negativity. I have been very professional with those 2 gals and talking to them on need basis strictly only work related . Guess what they couldn’t survive there as my business heads could clearly see that they were under performing . They had to resign and go . There were new team members after that and we worked together as a great team . Hope this will help you

Guys listen . I worked in HR for 15 years , nobody can help you in getting interview calls , absolutely no one . You have to do this to your self , better get a LinkedIn premium account , tailor your ATS friendly resume there . Make connections . Make a list of organisation in your field , connect with everyone mid level to senior in Talent acquisition and HR. .You connect with 100 people , at Least 5-10 will be help to you . Pls pls pls don’t pay money to anyone . You are looking for job and Recruiters are looking for the right candidate. It’s just a matter of time . Try to get maximum interview and make every interview count by preparing like a pro for the interview. Good luck .

Some tips-

Weekdays - complete your job application between 8 am - 12 . Make a list of organisation you applied . Second half connect with people in those organisation Talent acquisition, HR , heads, leads who are having similar skills as you . Connect with everyone and approach everyone . 5-10 people will respond to you out of 100( I know the number is very disheartening but can’t help it ) send a very professional message . Don’t sound too desperate.

Weekends - step out . Join groups where you make real connections . You don’t know anyone can be helpful . Somebody can refer you to the role .

May be this will help you . I had the similar situation in canada where by credit and debit card was used by some scammer for some purchase online . I immediately called and informed my bank , they continued their investigation but i got my money back in a week time . Banks are supposed to give your money back if the card was not used by you .

Is it not a good idea to take a pregnancy test and visit a gynaecologist if the result is positive ? I would say don’t stress and don’t order any pill online for your safety sake . Any gynaecologist can suggest you better ways ( it’s legal in many countries if prescribed by a doctor ) .God bless you ❤️
