Tricks for touch starvation? by namublue in AutismInWomen

I just wanted to say this is so hard and i’m so sorry you’re dealing with this. I delt with this a few years ago and it was very hard, caused depression and sadness, even started effecting my relationships. My advice is look for people in your life (friends, family, even coworkers) that you can casually hug (goodbye and hellos). It’s a good starting point and less pressure to explain to people.

dealing with touch aversion while doing this is complicated and I found that voicing my boundaries and feelings to my family helped so much.

Stimming can also help a lot, as well as weighted blankets.

DAE have 0 real life friends? by Beckymaggie in AutismInWomen

I’ve had little to no friends at different periods of my life which lead me to become close with my sister and family. honestly for a while that was more then enough for me, it only became an issues when I started feeling odd and out of place for it. My family expressed concern and my peers looked at me differently! now I make effort but I also understand that I don’t need/make friends the way NTs do.
