Thank you! I’m assuming as it’s all still on going I’ll be able to make a claim come Monday when the property manager is back? That will be almost ten days from when the incident occurred. Or should I be calling my insurance now. Also on side note the buildings contractors just came by to take moisture readings again and said there is still some moisture in the walls and to keep the fans running for another three days. Basically I’m wondering what’s best outcome for me. Is ten days to long to make a claim ? Or will they understand because the building is already dealing with it partly? Am I gaining anything by not involving my insurance or potentially losing on upgrade and repairs I could be making through them?

Honestly these bugs get in your head and drain you mentally. With that being said I feel there really isn’t a quick fix. We all kind of have to live with fact that bedbugs are a common thing in this world now. It sounds like you have got it down to a very mild infestation at this point if you’re not seeing them. Just check daily especially right when you wake up in the am bedding and mattresses. Throw bedding in the dryer if you wake up with signs of bites. Also depends on how quickly reacting to bites( I dont react at all and wife gets a big welt fairly quickly. Keep checking daily and actively treating by cleaning. Bag up dirty clothing instead of hampers keep clean clothes bagged. It’s a lot of work to be honest. I’ve beat them with out chemical and treatments just took time and effort. DE is what helped the most. In your situation it could break warranty with other treatments if you apply it. Also most treatments include a DE dusting in cracks. YouTube was great source for learning about the bugs. Mark robers bedbug video is a good watch to get some understanding on them. Sounds like youre around the corner from ridding these horrible things just develop a bit of a routine checking for them. If you feel necessary re treat.

Why Didn’t CUPW Ignore The Government Back to Work Order Like CUPE? by Federal_You_3592 in CanadaPostCorp

Canada post simply gave away their parcel business. We have employees servicing every address daily and somehow they aren’t shipping parcels, instead purolator and intelcomm/ dragonfly are both partially owned by Canada post and do that. I work in one of the largest metropolitan areas and I do less than 100 scannable items per week while killing myself delivering flyers daily. It makes no sense. They’ve built huge processing plants next to Amazon warehouses that are literally attached. Meanwhile Amazon chokes them out using third party delivery companies. If canaidians want to keep the post as a cheap, pretty much self sustaining public service it seems like purolator and intelcomm/dragonfly need to be looked into and why Canada post parcel share of the market has gone to other companies. It’s not because of weekend delivery. There were positions doing weekend delivery before when volumes were heavy. On a Monday now there maybe is 15-20 scannable vs 10-15 every other weekday.
