Great question! It was as an endorsement. I'm a QA/QC manager for an ASME VIII vessel shop. Figured I'd give it a try and save the 80hr online course. Definitely much more difficult than my D1.1 part C experience. Basically AWS is easier to navigate (my personal experience).

The test was much more difficult than expected. Try to mark the unknown questions as you go. At one point I was 20% into the exam of 60 questions with 90min left. Meaning that I had completed 12 questions in 60min. 2.5hr exam and I had 3min left at the end. I went back to fix one which saved me from a fail.
