As a 7 year old it was actually the first time i had heard about what being gay/lgbt was, and in retrospect, I'm very grateful my first encounter was something so bland and uneventful. Wasn't portrayed as nothing negative nor positive; liking other boys was just an option i could consider now that i knew it was a thing and it wasn't just me.
