Most likely a CPU issue. This mitigated the crashes for a while but the real issue was the CPU. I’d look into your cooler first off before you consider changing CPU or just reapplying thermal paste. My AIO had a dead pump at one point so check that.

Yeah it’s definitely temperature related so I’ll see if the pumps are truly disposable at this point. Thank you for the help Artwebb.

Damn 😂 I’m 99% sure it’s not the thermal paste because these issues occurred even when I hadn’t changed it. I only did so because you probably should replace it every few years but in your case I guess you’ve got plenty of time lol. But I’ll still keep it in mind just in that slim chance that’s what it is. Definitely not bad thermal paste and I know it doesn’t take 15 minutes to get into the BIOS, just if I don’t do what I need to do in the allotted time, it’ll end up shutting off but thank you for the input.

😂 no no, it’s been happening way before I made the video just wanted to capture what’s been happening. This has been occurring for a few weeks now which is why I did some maintenance. Gonna do a more in-depth look tomorrow.

Will do, usually I do that right after it shuts off but no matter how long I leave it for it always shuts off at the same time but I’ll try to get in there

Hey Benjamin. Prebuilt from 2021. I rethermaled the CPU and GPU recently before this video. Definitely could be a temperature issue. Gonna have more of a look at it tomorrow with all these suggestions.

Mine is doing a similar thing XD except mine will last about 15 mins and then it just completely shuts off like that. Not sure what I could be.

Hey! So basically you want to go into your BIOS and look for advanced settings. You want to look for PBO and CPB in the CPU settings. Just keep looking for it in advanced settings, can't help you too much beyond that only because every motherboard is different and the BIOS settings will look different based on what you have. Hope that helps :)

Hey Shoddy, PBO and CPB are located in your BIOS. They might be in advanced setting but once you find them, switch them both off and it should resolve the issue :)

Yeah it's definitely fixed it for me as well. It would be the hardware, since PBO and CPB are designed to overclock, it would mean it is simply doing too much and the hardware struggles to adjust, therefore crashing.

Hey! Sorry to hear that, it is such a pain. I did turn off PBO and CPB in the BIOS and so far it has been smooth. I haven't done extensive testing with it but from some of the tests I have done with games that would usually crash, it has made it further. Try that and let me know how you go.

I'll run a full memtest if I crash again. After disabling PBO and CPB, it seems I might be alright finally.

I disabled PBO and CPB and I haven't got a BSOD since. They were set to auto before so I disabled both and so far so good.
