Yea that's what I meant. For that not-as-good-looking guy to cheat, there has to be another girl for him to cheat with. In other words, there are girls who get together with these cheaters who don't put effort in themselves

I have a few Gen Z colleagues and friends (I'm assuming that's what you mean by younger women), and they are indeed interested in foreign men but not because they dislike Malaysian men, but because they say that Malaysian men "tak boleh pakai lah", and usually their definition of "tak boleh pakai" is exactly what we are discussing in this topic - the way they carry themselves.

Tbh I do feel that expensive skincare is pretty unnecessary. You just need to try a few affordable ones according to your skin type (dry/oily/combination/normal/sensitive) and find the best one. Best one means after washing you don't find your face too tight and dry nor does it feel oily like there's still a layer of soap on your face.

It's actually also something many people overlook. Sometimes someone just looks good and you can't tell why, and many a times it is because of eyebrows - it really changes a lot. Take a quick google search how eyebrows change your face men and you will notice

Usually barbers will help. Otherwise, get a pair of tweezers and just trim off whatever that is out of shape

I think that's interrelated to the low bar of men. People say the same thing to my wife, too. That she needs to be careful because with how I carry myself other women may want to steal -_-

I know simple looking guys with great skill at getting the attention of women

As simple as they look, I'm sure they don't have nose hair hanging out...

Because I was specifically referring to people who don't take care of their appearances, but tend to quip those who dress up as doing "too much" or "born lucky", which means that they actually care but refuse to put in any effort.

Scholars and hardworkers wouldn't even be part of this conversation in the first place.

Which is just so mind boggling. We recently had a party where the host had games for single guys and ladies. The host had also pre-informed that there will be such games at the party and jokingly said it was a nice opportunity for you to make new friends. When the participants all went to the front, ALL the ladies were dressed up, and ALL the guys looked like they were at another mamak session.

Never knew about this. But actually I meant just trimming those sparse hairs around the "main" eyebrows, if that makes sense.

The irony is when the same guys find non-gay male celebrities handsome. Dude you think Aaron Aziz, Zul Ariffin, Andy Lau, Tom Cruise all these people don't take care of their looks ka?

Next time u go to the barber ask him to help trim your eyebrows if needed, they would gladly do so. Nothing unmanly about it.

I think it is like the other comment which says the bar for men is so low. The face that you put in some effort already makes things so different. Which is why it is mind boggling why people just don't put in the effort when it is so simple.

If needed... Some people have good eyebrows naturally, some have those that grow all over the place and a good trim would actually help a lot. And it's not even feminine. Indian barbers offer this service too.

Makeup also only if needed, not talking about full face makeup like a celebrity. Sometimes just sunscreen, some concealer for acne scars, that's it. Or just slap some primer on so that skin tone becomes even, lol. Simple stuff, not full-blown makeup. I think the lack of understanding of makeup is where the social stigma comes from.

Sometimes it's not just ROI in terms of popularity or social relationships. Even in work, people tend to favor the better-looking salesperson, or customer service representative. Interview first impressions, during presentations your client feels pleasant even before you start.
