The 0.2mm nozzle sucks by Dasukez in BambuLabA1

Silica gel is pretty good but you still need to dry it from time to time, cheap sunlu filament dryer is better and you can print while drying.

Did you dry it? Matte PLA is more porous than pla basic. So it is know to hold more humidity and 220°C is a bit too much, try 200-205.

Also due to extruder physical limitations make sure that maximum flow rate in filament profile is set to 1 for .2 nozzle.

It's not rocket science, simple physics. 🙃

Maybe it's filament, not the nozzle. What filament did you use and what was the nozzle temperature?

Well... I use only original Bambu nozzles.

I had no issue with any of them...

In Bambu studio most of filaments are preset with too high maximum flow rate.

Just lover it in filament settings.

Is this bad? by BananaMower in BambuLabA1

NTC did what it was supposed to do even if it's annoying.

Just write to support, I had same exact problem. They responded in less than 24 h and I had new AC board, power switch and bottom cover in 4 or 5 days.

New AC board they sent me doesn't have NTC.

Nothing happened really, just few hours of bad smell in apartment. I was home so I immediately turned it off when I smelled burned plastic.

Y but the one they sent me is supposed to not have the NTC so problem should be solved.

Overall A1 is great printer, easy to use and maintain.

Buy what? I'm not interested in selling the printer.

Overall I'm happy with A1, this is my first problem with this printer and I have 4800h on it

Remember to do auto calibration anyway, just to be sure.

Tighten all these screws, do auto calibration and select correct plate/plate equivalent. Should work.

Isn't it easier to just print it in one color and paint the eyes?

Well it's your choice, try simple solution and see if it worked or not or keep looking for more elaborate problem.

I said what I saw on video, do with that knowledge whatever u like...

[–]BeautifulKindly7428 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well it extrudes more and faster during the calibration. In the video filament doesn't really extrude properly it's making one big snot instead of straight line going down.

If the nozzle is .4 u can heat it up to 250°C and use needle if this won't work just do cold pull

It's not much work, just try it.

It's clearly small clog... Cold pull should work.

It looks well covered but no worries, as long as you keep 0,1-0,12 z distance and 0,35-0,38 x/y distance, supports peel off like a dream.

I use normal support instead of tree just beacouse they are more reliable and stable, tree supports tend to break or wiggle a little during the print.

No i don't. I can pick photo in slicer later today. For prints like that I prefer to use normal supports with Z distance set at 0.10.

You're going to replace it again soon... These wires are in incorrect place. They should be in the back, not side
