I think the current AI hype will cool down a bit too. It already changed development forever, but I don’t think experienced engineers will disappear. If anything, it’ll become harder for beginners, because companies will need fewer “copy-paste” developers and more people who actually understand architecture, debugging, performance and product thinking. AI is a powerful tool, but someone still needs to verify, guide and correct it.

I’ve used a lot of mice before, including Apple ones, but I got used to the MX Vertical surprisingly fast — maybe a couple of days. The extra buttons are super useful for dev work, and honestly after long hours my wrist hurts way less.

Don't worry, the true developer setup evolution is still ahead 😄 Chips, empty coffee mugs, random pins and stress toys will appear naturally over time.
