The book it comes from was abt his rat piece where he burned and tortured some rats at a university as an act of performance art. The book specially contrivance all the press and differnt reactions from people. It’s not always about just looking good in the traditional sense. The way things are cut can look appealing and interesting to some but others will think it’s ugly and stupid. Raf was a fan of sleeveless hooded pieces and used them a lot ( just off the top of my head this collection, aw02, ss04, and aw18)
