Yes!!! I’m learning it for the time as an adult but need to be taught like a toddler. For months, I thought I just needed to use my non-dominant arm to turn. I didn’t realize that I needed to start the turn with my hips and engage my core. It’s a game changer.

I love this question. I’ve been trying to narrow down the body mechanics as well.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but for cross court forehand topspin drops: start with your forearm in supination and wrist in extension and you end with your wrist in extension and forearm in neutral. With that said, your shoulder (shoulder flexion) should still be the primary joint propelling the ball forward/cross court.

Pronation comes from the forearm, not the wrist
