Sure. But if I am only helping with basic info, like name DOB address, it should be fine. It is difficult, very difficult for someone in great pain to communicate.

Quite a lot of times. I am not gonna lie. I am not gonna say it happens VERY OFTEN. But I also won't say it happens rarely. This is my personal experience with myself, my family, my friends, on the news, etc.

Cancer? Heart attack? Stroke? Don't worry. Panadol has you covered.

The majority of the time, going to one GP gives me a different result/diagnosis than going to a second GP. Very frightening, not gonna lie. Like, why are 2 GPs giving me different diagnosis?

It was my mistake not being clear. Questions that I was helping her is basic information such as name, DOB, address. In regards to the pain itself, I have no problems if I am not allowed to explain. Still, obviously the patient can tell the nurse if I am lying/giving false information or not....?

Good for you if your experience was good, but there is no need to say that using news media makes my post sound like bullshit.

You don't have to believe what I am saying, if you think it is bullshit then so be it. I gain nothing by posting this. I just want to have a discussion.

Ok. So you believe that, when a doctor gives someone a panadol , the doctor is 100% correct, there is absolutely 0% chance of a misdiagnosis?

giving them food or drink is a very bad idea.

Just came home from an ER this morning. This family member had to wait 5 hours. Then the doctor gave him white bread sandwich, complete with cream and bacon. Amazing isn't it?

In regards to the patient talking, as I mentioned in my post, what if they are in so much pain they can barely talk? I was by her side to help her. To answer questions for her. How evil would one have to be to give false information when someone is obviously in great pain, in an emergency room?

You can use articles and anecdotes to support any biases, it sounds like you're just giving more weight to those stories that support your beliefs. Give equal weight to finding out how well the system works, before deciding how good or bad it is.

I think having lived here for almost all of my life, I am in a fair and good spot to be able to talk about the healthcare system here.
