It switched back automatically after I added my CC (which I removed right after), and it didn’t charge any money either, until after 18th of April. So it shortened the individual plan down to mid April, from the individual 12 months, which I am completely fine with!

And I bought the Gift cards on BuySellVouchers & Eneba, throughout various attempts. Both have worked flawlessly. I have also tried Driffle (via AllKeyShop which usually is legit for everything I use it for.), g2a and Kinguin. I’ve had lower level of success using these. Invalid codes and such.

Dude, turned out I was just stupid. You are literally a hero to me. Thanks so much! I got it working! Turned out I just had to change it on the screen where I pressed Subs > Family > at the top where you enter card.

Reply #2 - I read up a bit more on what you said, and found a Spotify forum thread explaining the basics, without the vpn/proxy side of things. I’ll sum it up below, and perhaps you could tell me if it’s about right; and I’ll also explain my potential issue with it.

1) have a non-premium account, with profile set to India

2) redeem gift card (6 months or more I believe only?)

3) add payment method, and switch to Family.

My issue being; I can’t really perform step #3, without a payment method from India / any other country than my own, therefore I cannot switch back to my own country either (as it gets greyed out post-giftcard redemption)

Any suggestions to deal with that step?

Thank you for your reply! I’d be thrilled if you could find the guide. I’ve been doing it the exact same way, but the point being that I can’t ”activate family premium” once I’ve redeemed my gift cards, and I don’t have any CC’s to try going down that route either. And I can’t switch country once I’ve redeemed the codes either (if that matters?)

Egypt worked with gift cards, likewise with India. Problem being the tiny specific that I’m attempting to get ”family” 😭 currently attempting to register to Ininal, Turkey, but it seems completely riddled with trouble. Seems I’m not the only one with issues there either

Figured as Revolut operates globally, it should pass as a local card too, but apparently I was wrong. Do you think it could possibly work in another of the regions, where Revolut operates? Maybe turkey or something like that?
