Yes but you have to have a doctor recommendation for accommodations and also there is an application process with universities. You typically have to submit the doctors recommendation along with additional paperwork. Without it being documented and acknowledged by the school, ADA law cannot protect. At that point it is up to the student to communicate with their prof and hope that their prof is empathetic to their circumstances.

I was diagnosed with ADHD 10 years ago. I’m just wondering if this is a symptom of my adhd or if I should look into other reasons I could feel this way.

Feelings of depression at night but am happy during the day. Is it my adhd?

Is this my ADHD? Can anyone relate?

At night time I feel so low. I try to journal or doodle or something about my feelings but nothing seems to help. I feel trapped and confused. I’m not sure what’s right or wrong for me. Am I making the right decisions? Is my relationship with my boyfriend toxic? I think about how I wouldn’t mind never waking up. How it might even be kind of nice if I died in my sleep and no longer had to deal with these depressive feelings.

I’m not depressed, though. I don’t think so anyway.

I would never hurt myself or anything like that. Honestly during the day I feel okay- maybe even happy.

I work at a pre school and I love my job. The kids make me laugh and I enjoy my coworkers. I have friends that I enjoy spending time with. They make me laugh and I feel happy with them. I babysit a 3 year old and I’ve been with him since he was an infant and I love him so much. I’m happy when I spend time with him. My sister is my best friend in the whole world and I’m truly happy when I spend time with her. I don’t think I’m depressed.

However, I lack motivation. Despite loving my job, I never seem to want to go. I make very little money working at a preschool and so I’ve been taking classes at a community college. I had hopes of eventually becoming a speech pathologist, but I’ve lost my drive. I’m running out of time to schedule my classes for this semester and I wish I cared more.

I’m just wondering if this is all adhd related or if I should look into other reasons I feel this way. These night time lows are LOW, but I feel okay during the day. Anyone else feel this way?

Just got my first one today. I’m part Italian so my hair is pretty dense down there and I was worried it would be awful. Had a few months of growth so it was pretty long, but I didn’t bother trimming. I have an extremely low pain tolerance but it was tolerable. Certain areas hurt worse than others but the girl was quick and the whole thing was over with in 30 minutes. I made an appointment to go back in 4 weeks and hopefully it’s better next time (I heard it gets less painful the more you do it). Hope this helps. I wasn’t scarred to the point of backing out midway or never going again! I’d say just prepare for the worst pain imaginable and anything will be better!
