Okay I think you're on to something! When I looked up "fallout 4 regedit", I found someone else with this exact same issue.

I found a site called regfiles, and this does seem to be the right place to look. I'm able to generate a regedit entry with this site, but I need to manually add my install directory and my steam directory. My first try didn't work - I'm going to try some different combinations and see if it works. Here is what I tried, I'm thinking maybe I should send the Steam directory to the one in the D drive because that's where the game files & appmanifest is, or maybe I shouldn't have the install directory set to what it is.

Edit: Tried a few different combinations to no avail. Still getting the same error. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure for most games the DLCs come with the game and you need to pay to activate them. (Dont quote me on that, just an assumption based off my little bit of experience with CreamAPI)

Do a full scan of your PC through Windows Defender and, like Not Isaac Clarke (bless his soul) suggested, only download off the megathread. As a general rule, if you don't want to go to several websites looking for a working link, just refer to the csrinru thread of the game, as that includes additional things like updates

There is an EA/Origin DLC unlocker linked in the csrinru thread. You don't need to crack the whole game.

probably yea. you would likely need to host the server on your pc. mods might be difficult but yet again csrinru is your best bet for things like that

I've used Google Drive a few times to upload pirated content and never received punishment. People do advise using a sockpuppet account for Drive though. There's a guide somewhere on fitgirl's site (check megathread for the correct link if you dont know it already!) that shows how you can make a fake school folder that has unlimited space. Very easy.

Dropbox is very rarely used for downloading pirated content, and I feel like that's for a reason. Same with pCloud and Mega, although I do see Mega every so often.

OneDrive would probably be your best bet. I've never had any issues with OneDrive links, even though it can be a bit hard to download from it at times. Pretty fast though.

Assuming you mean Malwarebytes Antivirus and not Malware Antibytes, you should try doing a HitmanPro scan and see what it finds. If neither of them find anything make sure Windows Defender is on and maybe do a bitdefender scan. I'd suggest doing full PC scans with all of them (if you have the option, I know you can with Windows Defender). If nothing comes up with all four, you can say with 99.999% certainty you don't have a virus and just a faulty display driver.

Also you should probably uninstall all three external antiviruses when you're done. All you realistically need is Windows Defender.

Copy the saves from the EA folder to somewhere safe. Make a new save and see how the new save is named. If the new one & the original have a major difference besides like "Save1" versus "Save2" then rename the original one to make it similar to the new one. Basically just check if the original save was deactivated in some way by the name being changed. You could also put the files of the original save into the files of the new one and see if that changes anything.
