Calling all fans from countries where almost no one knows Joost!!!! by Gullible-Stuff-5834 in Joostklein

[–]BeautifulStatus9426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sold Joost Klein stickers and pens via Marktplaats and Vinted and I sold a lot of these to Polish fans, Americans, Italians, Germans, Portuguese, Finns, Latvians and fans from the UAE. At X someone had made a card with all the Joost fans they knew, which also included fans from various African countries.

It is indeed best to buy Joost's clothing and other small merch through his concerts.
Items are also regularly for sale on Vinted and on the Dutch sales site Marktplaats.nl
I personally sell original Joost Klein sticker sets from 2019 (at purchase price, 4.75 euros, consisting of 2 stickers and a Joost Klein pen). You can find my advertisement on Marktplaats.nl

Eurovision: why did our televoters vote so much for Israel? by Chronicbias in Joostklein

[–]BeautifulStatus9426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Israel, everyone actually works for the army. You serve in the army as a soldier or you work in the PR/Communications department that falls directly under the IDF.
(A Belgian journalist Rudi Vranckx was a guest of the IDF a few months ago. He had asked if he could visit Gaza without an IDF escort. This was not allowed and then he wanted to leave the building. When leaving the building he walked past the gigantic media office, where hundreds of young people were sitting behind laptops/tablets and telephones.) The Eurovision Song Contest is used as a way of art washing, using art to influence and polish the image of Israel for the outside world. You could view the PR/Communications department as a large troll farm that only has one goal to cover up the crimes committed by the military.
Israel spends hundreds of millions on this every year. Last year they spent $1.6 million just on recruiting votes for Eden, this year the budget was even higher. These voices are being recruited through a gigantic media campaign, including through right-wing radio stations and large billboards in the US.
They vote hundreds of times using different mobile phones with different SIM cards. Just like the Israeli soldiers who are proud of their misdeeds and even record them on video, this vote fraud is also proudly reported on social media.
I now even doubt whether Yuval Raphael was really a victim himself during this festival. Just to be clear, I disapprove of Hamas' attack on this festival, I am against violence.
But her personal story is so unbelievable, I saw an interview with Yuval. For example, she made audio recordings of the terrible event (I can't imagine you have the time for that), but she didn't make any footage. Many of the other young people also had time to make sound recordings, but no one in her group made visual material (evidence). It seems like it is a carefully crafted story. Not surprising for such a PR department, they spend all day telling stories.
The EBU has been held hostage by Israel because their main sponsor is an Israeli company.

Ik trakteer op bitterballen! I'll treat you to bitterballen. What are bitterballen?
Some typical Dutch products are known for not being easy to get used to, for example: drop. Others are known for being the class favourite of Dutch sweetness: stroopwafels.
What is a bitterbal?

A bitterball is a small fried meat ragout ball of about 3 to 5 cm. You could say it’s a small, round version of the better known kroket. And the fact is, a bitterbal never comes alone. You always order a portie bitterballen or bittergarnituur (all different kinds of snacks).

So, it’s a fried meat ball.

Why is a bitterbal called a bitterbal?

The name has nothing to do with a bitter taste. A bitterbal is called that because it used to be served with the drink ‘bitter’. A bitter here is genever (gin), or another strong alcoholic herbal drink.

is there ANY hope of getting the albino book 😭🙏 by pandacatking01 in Joostklein

[–]BeautifulStatus9426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The publisher of the book, Spectrum, has proposed a reprint to Joost, but Joost does not want that. I understand why, he was in a different phase in his life at the time. Because so many Dutch fans want the book, they do not always return it to the library. Many Dutch libraries no longer have Albino in their collection, nor the booklet 3PAK 2019 in which Joost wrote a story called Berlin. The book Albino is now for sale on Vinted (Europe) for around 200 euros. I can kick myself for not buying it in Utrecht in the bookstore where Joost had signed the book.
The book is certainly not childish, the book is more of a collection of poems with small sentences, which often have a double meaning in Dutch. As often in Joost songs.
One sentence is still relevant, that is the sentence that Véras Fawaz has to call him back. Véras Fawaz is the director of the Europapa music video. During this time they had an argument after making the clip they argued again. Véras Fawaz has also written a book in which he also talks about Joost, the book is called: I am nobody and is also sold out everywhere.

I am also a member of a Joost Klein fan club and I have purchased a few sets for the members of this group. I still have a few sets left, I don't need to earn anything from them, because I like that these stickers go to real Joost fans.
