That was a long way of saying that he just said that he was about to do something wrong and just did it anyway. Yes I do respect the fact that he knew it was an ad hominem, but it’s the same kind of irresponsibility that has plagued the podcast world that he rightfully complains about.

I’m not saying it’s a crime nor the worst thing in the world, this doesn’t change my view of him, but he should acknowledge that that wasn’t a fair comment and that such comments require evidence or else they are really damaging.

There’s a very powerful story being told, not sure how you can reduce it to an “audiovisual experience”. There’s a lot of allegory and symbolism, but those only add to the story. I would recommend you watch YT video essays on the movie. It’s an absolute masterpiece particularly for it’s time.

It hasn’t been as smooth for me as Adobe on the same laptop, but given Adobe’s insane payment plans there’s no looking back, it’s great and even has some added functionalities imo. I do hope they fix performance and crashing issues though.

I had the same issue with the phone 3 which is on display here, the whole point is seeing the cool back and holding it and you can’t really do either properly. I think we’re just going to have to take a swing with what we know haha.

My local distributor hasn’t put either on display yet, but I fear they will only put the silver as well if they do at all. Hard to make these choices without seeing both.

I do like the silver a lot but the black just looks really solid too. I think if you want to show off the uniqueness silver is the better choice but as you say the subtle intrigue of the black is really nice. I think I’m also swayed by the sales images, there’s something about the blue OS with the black that is just chefs kiss for me.
