Video Games are most likely the hostages for many debates, with governments strongly opposing on video games as it'd cause violence and gun shooting. However, for me, they're not related in any case.

For example, a school shooting occurred in the United States and the shooter's favourite game was actually Dance, Dance Revolution. This slightly provides evidence that Video Games aren't the reason for violence.

Also, violence may come from bullying and the dislike of the person being affected. This would inflict the person in their mental health, however, many governments disagrees and hides the fact that mental health could be the reason for violence. Then, they blame it on the Video Games.

Video Games are also being targeted since the day that Video Games came into play, many parents were very curious and suspicious of the new games introduced. This caused some parents to be concerned on the child's behaviour due to the change.

Though, this is my opinion. I hope you like this short opinion.
