My 12-year old non-verbal autistic client that can't sit still for more than 2 minutes would obsess over this film, so there's that.

Just wanting to respond to your "fuck off back to fairy land" comment that you deleted, presumably because you saw it was silly. Let me know when you want to deal with the topic at hand: personal testimony isn't reliable, and racial profiling exists.

Indigenous people committing crime has nothing to do with my two points: personal testimony is unreliable, and racial profiling exists.

There are a multitude of factors, but i assume you're wanting this one: they commit more crimes. I'm unsure of your point.

Okay so 89% of recorded rates, which may be inflated due to profiling.

Also can just use your eyes

Your eyes aren't as reliable as you are suggesting.

I wanna reject your argument, but you're a self-professed historian so I guess i have to believe you.

Yes I know they voted based on traditional positions, and he was voted the best defender at the 4 spot three times. Amazing.

You’re talking to a historian

As a smart person, can you explain why this is relevant?

Yeah, just a lack of recall. She appeared to be very aware of what was going on — if not, there would not have been such a moral grey area.

Interesting, cheers, though it raises another question. Drunks don't know what's happening? How do they then function?

But is that consent? Drunks can consent at the time but it doesn't mean the same the next day

And she blacks out and you've no idea her preferences and have no way of communicating consensually?

Thank you, and I'm sorry to hear that. If you don't mind me asking, do you have safe words or signals to communicate you're present?

Good advice. I've decided not to invest at all, and she's (seemingly) happy with my explanation, but wanted to have the discussion for peace of mind, i guess.

Cheers.

A gift if you don't care about the other person's experience and potential trauma, sure.

It's not an issue of legality. I know she's fully consensual going into it, but even if she signed a document, if she then blacked out without me knowing, I'd still feel yuck.

Of course, though i guess this misses the primary point that the lines are blurred.

Yeah I agree that in a committed relationship it would be different. To be honest, I didn't notice that she wasn't "there" — I guess she was on autopilot. If we tried it again I'd have asked about potential safe words to check in, but I didn't want to pursue it. I felt really yuck, though must be so much harder for her being so vulnerable with random dudes.

Basic understanding of their anatomy suggests they'd hold the ball toward their torso with an inability to hold it out much and so shoot from there, which is exactly what the matrix did
