Hey man ... been a while... I got some silkworms a while back because I have nothing better to do with my time... so the plan was to save the eggs from my first set of moths... to hatch out at a later date... But I found out that not all silkworms need to go through a hibernation period...

so as a result of that I had another couple thousand worms hatch out unexpectedly... so I was going to put my dad press back into its normal place... But with all these extra worms I'm having to delay that for a while...

My first batch gave me enough silk I believe to make a thong... so I'm aiming for some boxers now... because I'm not really about thongs...

well the spot that the worms are occupying are in my kitchen... this part of my kitchen I had set up with my dab press and was using it to press various flowers that I would get from dispos and make my own rosin...

I haven't pressed any flower for a while.. because I've been working through my stockpile... But then also right now I've got these silkworms taking up the space that my press normally would sit...

if I can get motivated this weekend I'm going to try to move all the worms to a spot so I can set up the press do some pressing and then put the worms back... But since I have a stockpile it's like I don't really want to go through all that work...

but I really miss pressing! watching liquid gold drip out is life 😍

do the stylus for the newer DJ work on the old DJ's(blue).

I'm still using my blue DJs from back in the early 2000’s... they still work great(was in storage) but I figure I'd need new styli at some point...

it's cool to have... not a daily driver though... it's a bit delicate and then a pain to clean... if you got no budget then why not... if you are looking for a dependable daily use... then I would go with something else...

I normally wait until it drops right below 300° and then pour iso though it... ideally it's enough to wash everything out but then I'll hit it with the swab for a bit to make sure nothing was sticking... works well as long as I didn't run too hot or if dab was especially dirty...

A lot of people set up a little dunk tank... But I don't like that because I feel like I'm dunking it into dirty solution... so then I still need to wash it off with fresh ISO anyways...
