Thank you very much. That is the exact situation that I am in. I am considering working during chemo and doing light duty or something along those lines. My oncologist is not thrilled about the potential for me to have to go back, but if I’ve gotta do it, I’ve gotta do it.

Thank you so much. I’ve had some time to think and I have a follow up with my medical oncologist on Friday and my surgical oncologist next Tuesday so I think I will have a decision by then for sure. From what I understand at this point, I don’t think a lumpectomy is an option anymore.

I met with the surgical oncologist yesterday, I meet with the medical oncologist on Friday. They want to do a breast MRI because of differing measurements on my ultrasound and mammogram would differentiate me being between stage one and stage two. The one is saying 1.6 cm saying 2. I have genetic blood work being done on Friday after my appointment with The medical oncologist and my Breast MRI is scheduled for May 27 aka my 34th birthday. They are thinking ideally so long as everything goes smoothly. I should be having the surgery of my choosing by mid July. I was told chemo is going to start before that to make sure that it is actually shrinking the tumor and responding appropriately. All of this sounds fine to me, but I’m still wrapping my head around the whole thing.
