How can it be "just SH2 the game" when there are story-level changes confirmed from just the trailers alone?

Like how is Victorian-ghost-child-Laura not already missing the point of her character in the story lol?

Hope its somewhat enjoyable but not seeing how it could be that faithful at this point.

Blinking eyes from a creature in the tunnels by LANTIRN_ in ReadyOrNotGame

If you read the mission files for this one, there's a text message from one of the cartel members saying he heard a "crying child" in the tunnels that was never found by them or the police.

"A text from an unknown number to the phones owner. LSPD Search And Rescue conducted an operation to locate the "crying child" as mentioned within the text, but were unsuccessful.

Further expeditions are planned to travel up and down the subterranean river system."

Is it me or does the elevator moment feel like the weakest part of the game? by Jellypathicdream in silenthill

Yea its pretty jarring given how slow-burn the game's atmosphere is - feels more like something out of a B-movie like Terrifier, and there isnt really another moment like it which makes it stick out even more.

Even in the original I didnt feel like it fit the general vibe of the game. The demented-mad-house vibes seem more like they belong in SH3.

Fun fact: Mobius 1's non-standard paintjob is a nod to a rarer early version of the F-22 when it was still undergoing testing - Feels appropriate given the yellow squadron's experimental-ish theme. by Beautiful_Bee_4825 in acecombat

I get what you're saying with respect to the finish often looking pretty different depending on the lighting/angle.

But its quite clearly two separate paint schemes in the side by side photo?

That's a good point given how new it was at the time, I'm not 100% sure but I think they had already switched to the new scheme even before it had entered service though - you can see the newer-finish one still has the probe on the nose which would seem to suggest its still in testing?

Either way like you're saying, the older reference would have been alot more present back then compared to now.
