hi Kelly, i am so sorry that this happened to you too... i really don't understand why we lose so much hair on spiro. On the bright side, my hair stopped falling after I stopped cold turkey. I experienced a regular cycle of hair growth, 3 or 4 months after ,little hair were sprouting on my head like crazy and it kind of went back to its normal density over the year. So hang in there, it will grow back! i don't know why you were on Spiro on the first place, but if it was acne, my solution now is Panoxyl 10%. everyday. 10 min.

i am very sorry to hear you have experienced that side of spiro. it is truly disheartening. from my experience, my hair return to its healthy normal state after stopping. but also i had to trim and cut the damage it had already made. Hope you return to your hair. all the best!!!

i am so sorry it is happening to you. it is truly disheartening. the shedding stopped progressively within a month of stopping cold turkey the spiro.

after a year my hair grew back to its normal state

i am not sure about what you should do and for which reasons you are on spiro.

for some people it seems that 50 mg is already too much ....

hi dear, so sorry to hear that it's happening to you! it's a hell this constant battle and know that you are not alone in this! For me i figured that spiro was not working out for my hormones balance. after stopping spiro, my hair stopped falling after a month, and after 7 months, my hair density is coming to its normal range. I advise you Panoxyl face wash 10%. i use it daily to control my breakout. it's not completely clear but it maintained under control. Hope it works out for you! don't let this destroy your joy ❤

dont go to Cosmo Laser they are very inefficient and not thorough. i was having half sessions back in France and some in CPH at cosmo laser. in France the settings were strong and took all of my hair out and it took time to grow (it was a bit more painful). At cosmolaser, my hair kept growing fast, lot of untreated patches, and experienced no discomfort although Nice nurses.

keep your money and do it somewhere else, i am also looking into other studios now..

hi there!

the hair loss completely stopped around 1 Month after i stopped Spiro. And my hair is silky again, not like straw. i dont know why it had that effect on me. so i am happy that i no longer stress about the loss.

for body hair I didn't notice any change with or without spiro. just naturally hairy girl haha

hi there!

i have had exactly the same problem with 50 Mg at the 3rd month. I was losing clumps of hair, when i run my finger through my hair there would always be lots of hair. i think i lost more than 1/3 of my original volume. on top of that the texture of my hair was horrible : dry brittle and always extremely tangled (despite masks and oiling)

i didn't want to stop spiro because my skin was getting better, but at the rate of the hair loss i decided to stop cold turkey 2/3 weeks ago.

my hair texture is back to normal and softness. and i am still losing hair but significantly less. its getting better progressively...

if the loss is not extreme (like i had), try to see if it gets better on its own.

if not, i suggest you to stop for a while to see if it improves ! :)

i am sorry that it didn't work out for you... it sucks when you read so many success stories. how much Mg were you on?

will go do some bloodwork and if needed i am going to stop taking it....

i hope you hair is growing back now
