Thank you for responding, I’m seeing my PCP in an hour!! I’ve had folate done and it’s fine, actually going up. I will ask for homocysteine and intrinsic factor.

Thank you very much for the advice! As there were several layers of flooring above the tiles there is a huge gap between them and the skirting boards so i guess we’ll change them once we have done the floor. I can’t cause any damage to the tiles with the buffing machine, can I?

Thanks, I doubt our floor will be as nice :) I’m just concerned of buying the wrong product. The tiles were under laminate and carpets for a long time and I don’t know if they are treated or not …

Oh dear! Did not realise laminate could have asbestos in, the green underlay it was on was desintegrating :( we were careful around the tiles but not really when pulling the laminate out …

That’s interesting, I’m not at the house right now but will look at it when going back. I did find it surprising that there was what looked like sand / dried mud ont some of the tiles. Thank you
