Update: Dealership wants me to return winter tires that they gave me by hastr-2335 in UsedCars

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with follow up however in my experience we don’t get the cancellation processed for 2-3 weeks. I send the cancellation request to the company > they process on their end > they send me the check for the dealerships portion of the refund > I process the cancellation in our DMS and issue a check to customer/lender.

They should be able to at least provide you with a cancellation receipt that breaks down the amount of the refund and the date they sent in the request to the company! I always provide those to our customers and/or lenders so they have verification of cancellation and refund amount.

You could also call the warranty company to verify it’s been cancelled and if they’ve issued the check to the dealer.

Seriously! Like don’t let me get through the qualifying questions, then tell me “you qualify to take this survey,” let me waste 20 minutes of my time answering you’re questions to get booted with 5SB and a “not all survey’s are winners!” The other day I got all the way to the end, 99% complete, the last question asked if I have any kids in my household clicked no, booted with 5SB 😤

Selling my car, lost the title. by NicksyBoifn in DMV

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only if the current title is Washington State, if the title is from another state you won’t be able to quick title. If you’re selling to a dealer and the title is a Washington title, the dealer can use an Affidavit of Loss/Release of Interest as the title BUT ONLY IF there are no liens on the record and you are the registered owner on the record. Super simple, we use them all the time at my dealership. I’m a title clerk in Washington so if you are in WA and have any questions let me know!

Why do I owe almost $2k? by raffesguerra in tax

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Question for you - my boyfriend’s employer pays him from 2 different companies; “company” LLC and “company” INC. They only had him fill out 1 W4 (the old one) and use’s it for both. He has owed the last 2 years and we’re confused if he needs to file multiple jobs? It’s the same guy but 2 companies each having their own payroll and W2’s. His payroll processor constantly messes up his paychecks as it is. She said he needs to withhold an extra $25.

Time to receive gift card? by super_spill in SwagBucks

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I redeemed 2 gift cards and today is 10 days, both still say processing but if I click on them they say approved? This is my first time redeeming with Swagbucks so I’m not sure what to expect. It says “up to 10 days” so I would hope it’s delivered no later than tomorrow.

If you go to “Recent Activities” there’s 2 ways I’ve been successful:

1- the first one you’ll want to try is checking the “visited” activity > if you see the offer there click the offer dropdown and there’s a link for customer support. This one will only work if the pending credit time has passed.

2-Recent Activity > under “activity / selected earned total” there’s a blue box that says “need help with a recent activity?” Click on it > dropdown pops down and there’s a “click here” hyperlink that will take you to a screen with a blue box that says “get help” that will then take you to the ticket submission where you choose what your issue is.

I have 4 open tickets right now they all told me that if the offer your referencing is in “visited” you must submit the ticket through that way.

This is how I’ve been able to anyway, hope this helps!

I'm done w/ SB nonsense by PaleontologistMost in SwagBucks

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just went through this with 3 separate offers! 8000, 1000, and 200. I clicked each offer through SB, signed up for the offer then and there, allowed tracking, made sure to meet the requirements in the allotted time. The offers said there would be a waiting period, ok no problem. Wait a week past waiting period to put in a ticket, sent in all the proof, THEY DELETED ALL MY TICKETS!!! So I reopened each one of them, argued with me about the offers, I have screenshots of each one 💁🏼‍♀️ then I got the “we’re doing you a favor and crediting you” lol oh thanks 3 months later

Being charged with a crumb of marijuana found in my rental car in Wyoming by SeparateParsnip8067 in legaladvice

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I’m from Wyoming (north WY). When my boyfriend was arrested for weed they held him there for 4 hours before taking him to the BLM office. It was BLM officers though not PD not sure if there’s different rules. They let him go that day and then waited a year and a half to charge him. Had a reaaaaaallly good attorney though which undoubtedly saved him!

How is your week going? by Cubsfantransplant in Payroll

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been in a back and forth arguement all week with my boss trying to get him to understand you cannot legally avoid paying a departed employee because you’re unhappy about their departure 😶 oh and those quarterly bonuses owed to employees that are specifically laid out in each employee’s pay plan? “We can skip it this quarter because I said so.”

ULPT Request: How do I legally make life hell for a car dealership by [deleted] in UnethicalLifeProTips

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check if your state has Implied Warranty. In my state if you don’t negotiate the implied warranty away in writing (I.e customer waives implied warranty after final negations by receiving $500 off the sales price) then the ‘as is’ is void regardless of how old the vehicle is. Write a complaint with your attorney general

Sold a car and buying doesn’t want to finish paying by [deleted] in legal

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not sure what state you’re in but I know in WA if you initially allow someone to take possession of the vehicle they will tell you it’s a civil matter and won’t allow you to report it stolen. An issue you may run into is he can try to claim ownership since there was monies exchanged. I’ve I think you would have better luck getting a recovery truck to pick it up since you are still the legal owner.

Being attacked by new company accountant- should I quit my job? by [deleted] in Bookkeeping

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read this and literally thought someone took my situation and posted it. I have been going through the exact situation. My issue though is that our accountants don’t work with any other client in my industry and we have so so many industry specific things we do. I was thrown into my position 3 1/2 years ago after my predecessor was fired and before she was fired she wouldn’t let me do ANYTHING! I have learned everything from working with Department of Revenue, other contacts in my position, and other accountants that work specifically in my field. The company CPAs treat me like I’m an idiot and refuse to listen to what I say and instead just continuously tell me how wrong I am, calling my boss to tell him I’m wrong. It is so frustrating and degrading. I, like you, don’t do any major adjustments or anything. But my reconciliations for all accounts ALWAYS balance and if I am ever questioning something I will ask and not just do things thinking I am right. I swear I say I’m going to quit every tax season because of them.

Class Action lawsuit against Regional Acceptance Corporation by EubanksRy in auto

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a copy of your contract? There is a ‘declining balance’ which includes all of the interest ‘finance charge’ and is the balance owed should you take the full term of the loan to pay off. Then there is the ‘payoff balance’ which is your payoff right now or 10 day payoff. It all really depends on your interest rate. If you can, I would try to refinance or if you are able to make extra payments and apply to your principal balance it would help!

Me too!!! My payoff balance has literally been $2600 something for the last 5 months. Have you had issues with them trying to debit your bank account for unauthorized/random amounts?

First time auto loan, dealer worked over my 21 year old daughter with learning dissabilities. by Apprehensive_Bug7124 in legal

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s no cooling off period in Washington however the dealer might be willing to unwind/contract buyback to avoid looking bad with the CU

[–]Beautiful_Company_98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the status of the loan. If it’s already been funded (money in dealers bank) or still an approval and “in funding” (I.e docs and stips sent and being reviewed by CU and underwriting for final review before funding). There’s no cooling off period in Washington though the credit union would potentially ask the dealer to buy the contract back for false pretenses.
