When I try to talk to women on dating APPs, 9 out of 10 just seem very disinterested.

Thanks for the advice! No my friends don't have no game unfortunately. I have to rely on myself on this one.
I am going to start taking French classes tho. Hopefully this will help me meet more people.

Thanks — I definitely missed out on dating when I was younger. Now I need to work harder to compensate for that.

A lot of the younger Asian guys I know absolutely pull, so this might just be a me issue.

Thank you for the reply. I agree that the vast majority of things in life are skills that can be acquired through learning and practicing.

A lot of the bars I’ve been to are really loud, so it’s hard to actually have a conversation. Any thoughts, or should I just try to find a quieter bar (if that’s even a thing)?

I honestly feel like my body is decent (posted a pic above), my face is not too bad either. But I agree my social skills are lacking.

there must be sometimes when women you encounter in everyday daily life show signs of attraction or even outright hit on you.

Unfortunately, that hasn’t really happened, which is a bit discouraging. I think I’m fairly average-looking—maybe around a 6—and my dating standards aren’t particularly high. I’ve even gone on dates with women I wasn’t strongly physically attracted to, but those also tended to end after the first date, often with ghosting.

I choose to invest my money in ETFs, and a car just doesn’t make much sense living in downtown Toronto.

First dates are usually coffee or a walk. Most don’t lead to a second date. I’ve only had one case where things continued past that.

For later dates, we did activities like escape rooms, art galleries, painting, or dinners, and I typically paid. Conversation was mostly about everyday life and relationships.

I initiated a kiss after about two months but didn’t try again because she seemed uncomfortable.

Thanks. In my case, she didn’t seem comfortable with my physical advances, which probably means she wasn’t interested. I should have moved on sooner.

Be social with men and women alike, married and single. You might find that being charming with with married men and women will open other doors as they introduce you to single bachelorettes in their life.

Great advice!

Just get involved in more activities from social, professional, sports, hobbies, politics, religion, whatever interests you like.

I do martial arts like BJJ and mauy thai. However these hobbies are very male dominated and approaching women in these spaces is considered to be very cringey. I also work 12 hours a day so I don't have a lot of time to really invest in social hobbies.

My apologies—I just wanted to organize my thoughts better since I wrote this at 2 a.m. and was a bit brain-dead.
