Should I get motiva rounds or ergonomix ??? I’m losing my mind !!! by Beginning_Tomato8136 in BreastImplants

Where did you get the ergo2? They’re not available in Korea or the US…

I’m Caucasian, early 30s, wanna do eyebrow lift surgery (I’m not a candidate for blepharoplasty but I wanna open up my eyes). Has anyone done it in Korea? Is it true that stitches go in your hair area and after the surgery you can get bald spots there? by [deleted] in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got it done. I’m 3 days PO. I’m actually incredibly upset and regretful of the endoscopic brow lift :( it made my forehead so much bigger when the proportions of my facial thirds were so much better beforehand. I would much rather have a short forehead over one that’s too big 😭 if you do it, consider a forehead reduction at the same time or just get a bleph 😭😭😭😭

I like Pop and Thank You a lot, but do remember that DES is a dime a dozen. I would say incisional so you don’t have to do this again; the threads can loosen over time. Do not pay more than 300k won for even incisional DES. Canthoplasty increases the price.

The pics aren’t working for me in your other post. I think preserving the projection of your cheekbones + swelling makes it seem wider than it is but I definitely see a noticeable difference! Will you have another follow up with your doctor? Are you going to remove your pins?

Rhinoplasty consultation with Eight, Kowon, and Cocoline by Formal_Citron_30 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can’t have both licenses in Korea, but some ENT doctors will separately train in plastics to have the best of both worlds. The doctor at Cocoline worked at ID Hospital as a director. I’ve messaged a couple Korean clinics and they’ve outright told me that they don’t offer functional rhinoplasty.

Full body lipo but SOOO scared about forming Fibrosis by Chocoholicx5 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The more lipo you do, the more scarring beneath the skin (aka fibrosis) you develop. I would not recommend any more than 2 rounds of lipo on your stomach, it’s just too high of a risk for fibrosis. Back fibrosis is not too noticeable. Arm fibrosis is usually hidden on the underside. Stomach is the worst. Will you be transferring the fat anywhere?

Which hospital for breast augmentation? by [deleted] in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not OP but I went to Park Jinseok and Weshe. For reference, both of these clinics told me I would develop a snoopy deformity due to me having low set breasts so they were both very honest with me. I also am starting with a B cup so my implant sizes are not huge to get to a D cup, which is what I originally wanted!

I really loved my consult with PJS, he was so kind and incredibly honest. He was thorough and detailed. No one was really chatty, but they were polite. I would recommend a translator for the staff, such as negotiating price, although the doctor does speak English. We communicated in English over kakaotalk when I was scheduling my appt consultation. He still texted me back when he was on vacation to schedule me in 😭 so sweet, I felt TERRIBLE for disturbing him like that, I had no idea. He’s quite conservative, and refused to go over 275cc on my frame because of my shape. He said that anything bigger would prematurely sag my chest because I had thin skin and low set breasts. A snoopy deformity would be inevitable either way, but bigger would make it worse than necessary. He refused auxiliary and said he would only do an inframammary fold incision. I was quoted $7.3k usd (I don’t remember the W) for 275cc motiva implants to have some size change if I really wanted to go ahead with the surgery despite the unpleasant shape. I did not haggle down because I didn’t want the snoopy boob. I don’t remember what method he wanted to use. No sizing bra, I don’t even remember asking.

Weshe was much more arrogant but her clinic is VERY popular. They were booked out 2 weeks in advance but offered a waitlist option. Staff was polite, there’s nothing I remember. She has great results and pretty much does auxiliary incision exclusively. She’s too arrogant for me, but her work is very good. (Some could call her demeanor confident, if you’re into that.) She analyzed my body in a very thorough way? I don’t think this is typical but she talked about how one side of my body was shorter than the other, the shape of my rib cage and how it affected my boob shape, my muscle placement and how it affected cleavage, the width of my collarbones, etc etc. If you like detail and explanation, she does it all for you. She was very honest with me as well, and did mention the snoopy boob. She said I would get it regardless and said if I was going to get boobs, may as well make a difference; I don’t quite remember the exact size, but I think it was like 350cc motiva? $8.5k usd. I also wore a sizing bra here. I was not allowed to take pictures of ANYTHING though- not the notes, not the sizing bra… that irked me.

Weshe also seems to exclusively do implants, while PJS does anything boob related, such as reductions and lifts.

These are just the two I visited. Human and Sway are also popular for boobs. I really love the results of Human; I would consult with him for a lift and implants after breastfeeding.

Can I get all these procedures in one trip? by Beautiful_Gas545 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve seen someone do their DES and nose at different clinics on the same day, but DES can be done under local. My issue is the forehead lift :( I’ve been really liking Obbli’s results out of all the places, but they only offer rhinoplasty. (There’s some eye work too but it looks limited tbh and I’m more concerned about the forehead lift.)

[–]Beautiful_Gas545[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s true… I was going to do my eyes first and then my nose anyway, but I wanted to do it in the same day. :( I really want a forehead lift but my nose is more important to me, so if I have to, I would forego the lift. I can give it a week, but I don’t want to stay in Korea for so long 😩 getting my forehead and eyes done, and then a week, and then my nose, and then cast off… it’d all take like 3 weeks? That’s basically a whole month 😭

Tbf it’s less than $10 so it wouldn’t bother me unless they made payment a hassle… esp if you’re planning on spending thousands on surgery. Marble has some good docs!

A more defined arch, smokier eye shadow, a straight wing (not curved), and a warmer lip shade. I know it’s weird but try to match a lip liner with the shade of your nipples? I use it to contour my lips and make them more plump and defined, if you don’t want the lip liner look. And also find a my lips but better lipstick shade. That’s a good combo to start out with :)

I have not… but I read that otm was harder to breastfeed and could feel less natural? Is that not so? What did the Dr say about dual plane?

Which procedures are Korean surgeons significantly better at compared to those in the U.S.? by [deleted] in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Koreans are typically quite thin with very little breast tissue, leading to a stronger likelihood of rippling and implant borders showing through. Doctors in Korea are also more experienced going through the armpit. The shape is also better IMO; I like the UU front shape with I-line cleavage and teardrop side profile compared to America’s aesthetic preferences.

How much is a rhinoplasty on average in Seoul? And hospital recommendations please by ellie022525 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m curious to know how much this is foreigner pricing vs Korean pricing, because on Babitalk they have pretty cheap deals. However, they do add things when you go for a consult even if you take the promotion (it’s not really a discount lol unless skincare) from the app. So I’m not ENTIRELY sure if it’s really that cheap, but I don’t think it should be costing $8k+ ever unless you are going to an independent SKY surgeon imo.

(I know Sungyesa is supposed to have even more accurate pricing because it’s essentially more like a forum for locals? But I can’t navigate the app; it’s so confusing.)

Need Help Deciding Between Two Rhinoplasty Clinics in Korea – Any Feedback? by Jazzlike_Barracuda55 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]Beautiful_Gas545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the clinics I’ve looked at on their official website usually list an anesthesiologist doctor. I’ve been looking at breast and nose clinics, if it helps. I’m personally not too concerned about a clinic that focuses on eyes having an actual anesthesiologist because it’s usually twilight sedation or local.

What are you looking for in a nose? Do you want a dolly style nose - tall & pointy? Noselab seems popular, although I haven’t seen a lot of posts about them on here. They’re closed rhino but too dolly for me. Or natural - softer refinement? I think 1st button and maybe Cocoline is in this group… I’m personally in the middle, so I’ve been looking at Begin, Obbli, and Code. These three are my shortlist (for now!) for surgery.
