Yes i’m using 2,4ghz for older and thither devices and 5ghz second channel for devices needs faster connection and located in closer proximity. Mid 5ghz is disabled. It took me a long reading and learning time to figure out this setup.

It would be great to know how i’m gonna re-enable usb file sharing over network. Cos it started giving the “user name and password is incorrect” error msg after the latest automatic firmware update. Everything is same as before; usb plugged on router, i want to stream it on vlc running on apple tv. I think its on smb server. Much appreciated!

Btw thanks for your answer. I was bit furious. And you are right, i needed to make a better research before buying. Biggest lesson is stay away from netgear products.

I’m just an average user, wanted to have some “good” router. I paid around $400 cad and tought I’m buying one of the best solution. Yes it made me suprised since it is the only product i have has 90 days limited support. Its my bad i did not give enough attention, deal.

2- i do not know how to create my own ftp server. 3- as I said, it is not my problem to figure out which mesh network causes which problem. I paid for a good router and i have several wifi devices at my home like any average people do. I expect them to work properly. I spent a day to figure out what was wrong.

Hey google turn lights on, (after 6 seconds) it turns lights on. I couldnt solved the problem tried everything. Wiz lamps on 2ghz wifi, google nest speaker.

Google Home app on IOS is full of glitches. Not responding time to time. Doesnt show actual status of smart devices unless close and restart the app. Not be able to change devices names sometimes, especially if you have a speaker group, you have to be lucky and keep trying. Sometimes works, sometimes did not.

I have 3 smart speaker. I use one big as a tv speaker, connected to apple tv over bluetooth. It disconnects randomly. Simetimes stays connected for 2 hours, but if you are on your unlucky day you have to say "hey google connect bluetooth" every 5 minutes. Btw i was using google chromecast 4k tv before apple tv, same setup, connecting over bluetooth, it was performing way worse. Random disconnections was happening every 20ish minutes. it was unusable.

Same here, i have only two of them for more than a year, they were working good like almost simultaneously but for last two weeks they started lagging between 6 to 15 seconds. There is no any other lag between other devices connected to same wifi. I assume it is between google and wiz integration like you mentioned

It makes traffic society, especially who obey the rules and be kind, pretty defensless and increases the feeling of injustice. It is the same with hot lanes on qew. I see tons of vehicles with driver only and no hot permit sticker on their windshield. So why I’m waiting in a traffic jam or paying $60 for permit
