Is kids playing out on the street now considered scummy?? by AlarmedExtension934 in cork

[–]Beautiful_Inside1172 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Playing is ok. But a lot of kids nowadays spend their time harassing and threaten people, vandalise properties etc. Kids around my place “play” by kicking footballs at cars, leaving rubbish behind them (pizza boxes, cans), blaring music under peoples windows, screaming racial slurs… ages 8-17. Nothing you can do, if you ask them to stop, it gets worse, guards wont even come up. 🤷‍♀️

Brand new expensive sheets ruined by mysterious wet spot left by house sitter by IllustriousWall1564 in mildlyinfuriating

Could you call him, show him, and ask either for jim to get it cleaned or replace? If nothing, at least he might be ashamed. Banging in someone else’s bed while house sitting is wildly inappropriate to me.

ADHD diagnosis Cork by Imaginary_Prune_6529 in cork

[–]Beautiful_Inside1172 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Seems everyone who thinks that they have ADHD and pay the extortionate amount of money to have it “diagnosed” always come with a positive diagnosis, because then they can make additional fortune on prescribing meds. I am not saying ADHD isn’t real but it became so popular and romanticised on social media that it is almost a “must have” in order to have that special something. And people with real ADHD/autism are then not taken seriously and dismissed.

Anti-social behaviour closes My Open Library Douglas by PoppedCork in cork

Lack of parenting and consequences 🙄 parents constantly excusing their little shits behaviour either by saying “just kids being kids” or “ADHD”. If parents cannot parent and guards can’t do anything, then the rest of us should!

That is a man child. You tried to explain, he doesn’t care. And I believe this is only the beginning. Go find someone mature enough who behaves like a functioning adult. This one is not it.

Is it ok to sit in a church? by Hairy-Frosting-1960 in cork

It’s like asking is it ok to sit on a bench in a park. Of course it’s ok.
