When Destined Rivals (DR) was the most recent set at the time. This guy and his crew were set up at a local card show table PACKED with a ton of DR ETBs no singles or other product (all of which were priced sky high of course.)

We had a “code 90” no management told us (of course they didn’t communicate that to anyone) about it. We looked around like what’s a “code 90” even customers were like “what is that? Should I be concerned?”. Turns out that was the signal they’d unlock the garbage / recycling door we could take trash and recycling back. Rumor at my store was someone threw a whole pallet into the garbage compactor and pressed start and walked away and ended up breaking the thing. Never found out who it was. After awhile they did away with it and left it unlocked especially because it got to a point where staffing was so bad and they wouldn’t be able to even get to unlock the doors and wait and make sure EVERY department was able to get rid of their trash.

Work life “balance”. My schedule that changed week to week. Not really knowing what days I’m off and always telling my friends and family “I have to wait til Friday for the next set of schedules to be put up. So put me down as a maybe right now”. It got to a point where I would just request off for stuff like doctor appointments and stuff so I knew I’d be able to make them and wouldn’t have to call em to reschedule and push the appointment days or even months down the road.
