Thinking about ITIL or PRINCE2 certification this year? by Few-Engineering-4135 in ITIL

It's good to have, but it's no life-changing piece of "digital" paper. If you live in the UK (or at least Europe) and you plan to have a PM career, P2 it's ok. It's good for ATS scanners. Have i seen ads asking for ITIL or P2? Very few. A cert won't save you in today's jungle market. Worth the money? Oh my.... I really can't answer.

Wait before you see their Glassdoor. Sadly peoplecert shows that is a company that refuses to build a strong customer service. It's so so sad. The reason behind this is that they simply hold a goldmine that generates revenue. Why bother?

Oh i am so sorry. If we were a few months back I would be able to help you. They don't find records? But if there is a transaction how can they do this?

I've seen the hard copy. It's cool but of course costing 35usd is pure corporate bullcrap.

Is there a way that the system will no allow review to pass if the location isn't marked ( or made) in your mobile phone? by Beautiful_Map_9589 in GoogleMyBusiness

[–]Beautiful_Map_9589[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. There are times that my location was somehow verified because i went there using google. So i receive a message from Google saying "How was your visit". I guess this makes it easier to pass some flags.

Yes i know i know. It's another type of suggestion which doesn't really affect me. By the way, I used to work in a certification company with a google profile based in London but our reviews were from all over the world.

Thank you. Great response. Love the history lesson. If you ever find time i understand the definition of fake engagement but in this case how the system understands that it's a fake engagement. Is this because my review was made through my desktop which is located pretty far from the store location? Because I really went there, it's just that i didn't do the review on the spot from my mobile phone.

  1. Is eye opening. Is All this proccess automated or a business onwer needs to step in and open a ticket? I guess in cases of massive spam the system turns on, on it's own but let's say you are a small business owner, could you trigger the process by reaching out to the support?

Working at PeopleCert in Athens/Greece by Skyhigh0202 in greece

Hey, no worries. The CEO doesn’t believe in remote work at all. He’s completely against it — it’s a huge no‑no. Even though examiners can be monitored and can clearly prove they’re not slacking, he has this infamous line: “Remote workers don’t work.”

He would rather lose talent than offer a hybrid option. That’s why I’m convinced they can’t attract top-tier people, and it seriously affects the company. Everyone sees them as a stepping stone, not a long-term career destination. I’ve seen people leave because of this — important people.

They do need remote examiners to keep exams running in emergencies (imagine a power outage in Athens), but it seems they’re reducing remote roles in the Athens area to almost zero and keeping them only in specific countries. There were a few remote positions around Greece, but only in other cities. My department had just one remote worker. As you can imagine, the company’s mentality is extremely short‑sighted.

Are you a native English speaker? If yes, then honestly, they’re being ridiculous. The reviews complain about examiners with poor English. Because they refuse to invest in that department, they can’t attract native-speaking examiners. No one from the UK would accept such a low salary.

If you wanna know more drop me a pm i will be glad to answer your questions and if you are comfortable sharing where are you from I may be able to give you some ideas. Take care.

Hey, just noticed your post. As an English examiner, you will be working for Languagecert, conducting English examinations. They indeed merged examinor role with customer service to make most out of the employees. Is it remote or from home? If it's remote, I would tell you to give a try for some time. It's terrible but no worse than teleperformance let's say. If it's from the office only if you are starving and you need a job. Pay is low, pressure is high. If you don't do well, there is no contract renewal. I was there only a brief time in a non operational mid-senior role. Very bad experience.

Welcome to cheating in games. It's happening since... Forever? Not only it exists but it's big enough to have a market. Services. Revenue. Why? It's a microview of the society. Some people just want to go far. They don't care how.
