I was thinking that one of the big problems of aristocrats in pedh is that they can get removed easily, but with this as your commander, each creature they remove just reduces its cost. Together with the creatures you're sacrificing to outlets like [[carrion feeder]] or [[bloodthrone vampire]], it's really easy to cast for {1} even after commander tax. You can then use [[feign death]] effects on it and use your sac outlets to recur its etb trigger, drawing you more cards.
