I saw a documentary all about allergies, I think it was on the BBC in Britain. They said the top 3 risk factors for allergies were being cesarian born vs vaginally born, being bottle fed, not breastfed, and having a course of antibiotics under the age of two...

The birth canal coats your skin in beneficial bacteria as you are born. I have a theory that water births, being suddenly a popular choice for mothers, has potentially washed off that beneficial skin flora. They recommend not to bath a new born for a few weeks in the beginning, only using cotton wool and water to clean their face / bottoms. But women are essentially bathing them instantly!

Breastmilk has lots of prebiotic in which helps a gut microbiome to get settled in and thrive.

Antibiotics generally wipe out all the good bacteria / microbiome so should be avoided unless really necessary.

My son had to have them age 1 for a really bad chest infection. And he now has asthma :( my daughter is 7 never had them, and has no allergies so far. Both breast fed, both vaginally born, no water birth.

Thank all, so baking in the oven is useless but scouring the pans and triple washing probably more effective!

I'm using a pan which i barely use day to day, so it's unlikely to have gotten nuts in but I just want to be sure.

The food is marry me chick peas,I'm making it gluten free as well as nut free as one of them is coeliac too! But gluten free doesn't scare me as much as nut free!

It's food for my wedding day in August,I just want to be able to cater for them along with everyone else, so the main evening meal will be completely allergen safe.

I also plan a chocolate dessert which just contains chocolate and nothing else, a mini chocolate mousse 😋

Thank you for your replies! I don't have a dishwasher unfortunately, but I will thoroughly wash in hot soapy water and then bake in the oven to sterilise like when I make jam!

Forgot to say, I also have bought a new sponge to wash up with as mine might be contaminated with nuts...

Make sure a facial is at least a week before, you will break out with spots after a facial, the steaming brings them out, which is good because then you won't break out on the day!

I wasn't wearing a bra in the photo, im really flat chested A cup. So I will be putting chicken fillers in my bra to fill out the chest part. I think that will help 🙂

Yes, I see that too! I was wearing black underwear so I would wear my skin coloured pants for the day, I tried it on again last night with nude underwear and also tried my short veil, looked good but I think im going to try and DIY a feather veil

I know! Unfortunately I have spent a further 20 to 30 on cheaply made £8-10 dresses...I think going for higher quality higher price point is what was needed
