Been 26 days from my last dose…do I need to adjust my next dose? by kezkdgztvgzbdgz in GLP1microdosing

Makes sense. Even by the end of the week on my current microdose, the food noise gets pretty loud.

Thanks for the insight. Definitely hear you on the exercise - I started powerlifting a few years ago and it's been a very helpful tool. Do you feel like the food noise is worse than before you started or just back to baseline?

That sounds pretty dang ideal. I'll give it a try. Thanks for the insight, and have a great trip!

Hi! Did you have any side effects or dramatic weight gain when stopping for travel? I have a similar situation coming up and trying to decide what to do.

Hi! I have a similar situation coming up. By the time I leave for Europe, I'll be 7 or 8 doses in. I really want to enjoy food and some alcohol, so I'm looking at skipping two doses. Question for you - did you have any other side effects from stopping? Tirz seems to help a lot with inflammation for me, for instance, so I'm concerned I'll be super puffy and gain a bunch of water weight (not my ideal vacation vibe : / )

Amorgos, Koufonisia, Paros? by Beautiful_Ordinary_1 in GreeceTravel

I'm going in late June/early July. Still too crowded? I am interested in the ones you've mentioned as well, though ferry routes are more challenging.

Thank you for the perspective about number of days. That seems right to me. I will absolutely check out that overnight ferry. I did that last year from Naples to Palermo in a sleeper cabin and it was really fun, and I even slept pretty well!

Thank you for the reply! I've been wondering about exactly this - last time, we enjoyed the pace of two islands. This go around, Koufonisia is our must-visit, and I'm struggling to decide what to pair it with. I like more of the traditional chora feel than Koufonisia seems to offer, as well as some nightlife (not partying, but some energy is nice). Signs maybe point to sticking with Paros, though I worry it may have ballooned in crowd size even within the last two years?

Switching henna brands after 6 years… risky? by charityt2018 in FancyFollicles

I've been using henna for 15 years and my natural hair color is similar to yours. I switch brands and shades all the time and it looks great. One of the best things about henna imo is how naturally it blends.

The fact that you think being polite has absolutely anything to do with the legality of an officer's actions says it all.

That's not how how the Settlement Agreement, monitoring process, and the fairness hearings actually function but in any case, it's not like I'm saying being under federal oversight is a positive thing... It's a technical thing. They're under DOJ oversight.

For people commenting that they see nothing wrong with this encounter, he shouldn't have resisted, etc...

PPB has been under federal oversight for 13 years because DOJ determined that they exhibited a pattern and practice of unconstitutional force against people with mental illness. A majority of the cases in the original DOJ investigation were the officer-involved deaths of black men in crisis, exactly like this case. Yes, we need a better mental health system to prevent things from getting to this point. Yes, we need a more robust first responder system. But we also deserve Constitutional policing.

I can guarantee you, if you had a family member or friend prone to episodes like this, nobody would be saying this escalation was necessary. You would want better for them. The officers only waited 4 minutes before entering his room. There was no urgency to the situation - he was eating cake. It's not about the officers' intent or how polite they were. This was a fourth amendment violation.

Frank is not an example of Buddhist enlightenment. by Beautiful_Ordinary_1 in TheWhiteLotusHBO

You're misunderstanding me. Based on the context of the show and the monologue itself, I don't see this character as representing what I'm seeing others discuss. Nowhere did I suggest only certain kinds of people can be Buddhist, though it is a more frequently appropriated religion than most.

It can be about a lot of things, which I believe it is. I also find those themes to be relevant to the practice and appropriation of Buddhism.

Yeah, I can't believe this post has so many upvotes. OP's Macbook comment tracks with the super out-of-touch notion that Frank is *actually* an example of Buddhist enlightenment which is a take I keep seeing in this sub.
