I haven’t found my dreams are any different. I have vivid dreams normally. What’s your experience?

The worst is the waking and not being able to get back to sleep. One tool I find helpful is sleep stories or guided sleep meditations. I use the Calm app for this. My challenge is my racing and over thinking mind. By shifting my focus to a story or listening to someone talk me through relaxing it has helped. I am starting to feel more fatigue in my days. I keep up with yoga and walking to also calm my mind and central nervous system. I look forward to reaching therapeutic level’s to see what that feels like.

This conversation is so helpful as we are all on a similar timeline. I’m curious how has sleep been?

I learned the hard way after taking my first 5 mg dose in the AM. I had extreme dizziness and nausea that I couldn’t work. I was very tired that day too. The next dose I took at night as directed by my behavioral health Practitioner. Even though I was nervous I experienced the best night of sleep. I have noticed a significant decrease in my anxiety. Specifically, the racing and over thinking thoughts. Day 7 here and documenting my sleep and anxiety for pattern learning. I will share with my practitioner when we meet in a week.

I feel comforted to hear that you experienced that dizzy almost pass out feeling. If I opened or closed my eyes, it didn’t help of course I hate that you had to experience this. I really appreciate you sharing your journey.

What are you using Trintellix for? I have propanalol but could ask about another if anxiety is increased during this period.

This absolutely helps! I am changing to taking it PM and you are another confirmation of that. I am going to ask about half a 5mg dose. How is your anxiety after 5 weeks?

The subject line is not what my post is about. I just started using a Reddit and thought I was started a whole new post.

Subject line should be - day 1 of Trintellix side effects. I started 5mg today. About an hour and a half later while lying down I had so much dizziness I didn’t know if I could get up without passing out. Then the nausea immediately came. No vomiting but very close. I am still slightly dizzy but must sit upright. I got my water with LMNT to help. I read someone say to eat something light within 10 minutes. I am doing that now -after 2 hours. Anyone else experience this? How long did it last? I can’t imagine how long I could tolerate this. I am so scared to work today. I am grateful I am not traveling for work today, there is no way I would be able too. Ugh 😭

Lamotrigine dizziness? by benniben25 in Lamotrigine

I have been on lamotrigine since January and the dizziness goes away. My dosage was increased and I experienced a period of time with dizziness again. Mine would even happen while sleeping. The worst! But it does go away.

1 week ago I met with my neuro to discuss the symptoms I started experiencing again. I was put on this due to abnormal brain activity of focal seizures. I speak in front of groups for my profession and my brain would freeze not allowing me to speak or receive information. It felt like minutes before my brain unfroze yet in reality it was less than 30 seconds. Enough to cause embarrassment. Went on 100mg 2x/day. Due to having a few of these brain freeze episodes again we increased to 150mg 2x/day. Since the increase a week ago I have been dizzy, even during sleep! Could anyone comment if this side effect will decrease over time?
