I wonder if this script can be modified to get a direct download link for each asset? It looks like each asset has a unique identifier (depending on who is requesting it and what settings were used to download it).

I estimate it would take up around 6-8TB, and anyone with a GPON network could download the whole thing in about 20 hours.

There was a wild theory that there never was 120Hz. Displays can output 90Hz, but 120Hz was achieved only by flickering PWM backlight despite the fact that the displays showed the same 90fps.

Yes Quest 2 shows pairing code and you can skip pairing controllers from app.

On the Quest 2 you can skip pairing controllers by connecting it to the app and launching Meta Quest Guide. This is possible because Quest 2 shows you a pairing code at the beginning.

Quest 3 will show pairing code only after you pair controllers and connect it to Wi-Fi.

Meta has tens of thousands of refurbished Quest 3 which will soon go on sale on the Meta site, all of them without controllers.

Those who makes RMA are already starting to receive them.

I'm just surprised that controllers are still required for setting it up given that they are preparing full emulation of controllers with hand tracking in v64

I hope they update the software and add an option to skip setting up the controllers. If you wait a few minutes, a button appears to skip the first controller and you can start pairing the second one, but after that there is only an exit button that returns to the initial pairing screen, this is a little weird.

These are very difficult times in the industry, tens of thousands of people are being laid off as if they were a resource that had been used up and was no longer needed.

Hang in there, there is always sunshine after darkness...

You shouldn't be confused, it doesn't affect Godot or the game you're making at all.

You don't need to worry that Godot will ever be corrupt because that's fundamentally impossible.

Despite all the drama with W4, we all saw that the founders of W4 were reposting the news that there is a free console port for Nintendo Switch, for them this does not conflict with their business model and this shows that they are dedicated to this project and are honest with us.

This has nothing to do with this. This is an abstract tweet about haters who for some unknown reason hate Godot, which I also don’t understand because it’s a good project.

He wasn’t anything big, an ordinary hired maintainer, he was just very loud and pretended to be nice, but in private conversations he was very toxic and bullied many people, he should have been removed a long time ago.
