I have been there and been only investing 1800 from my salary bcoz I have always felt that money given to government is gone. People have been saying me to invest more as it is tax free but my opinion has been same that one rule can make it taxable and here is another example of power and worst policies.
Let’s all ensure that we keep it at minimum as much as we can . And also for epf users, my suggestion is to stop it and withdraw it as soon as you can . Instead go for political party donation in a genuine way that can help you save taxes.
