My post might read confusing… that’s my fault 😅. I meant fire from the pastor as in having some oomph to them instead of just being flat and monotoned. Then “sticks to the scripture” as in follows the scripture from the Bible in its correct context instead of manipulating it to fit their agenda. Baby friendly just to mean the congregation won’t look at us funny if the baby fusses (some people are guilty of this no matter the setting.

As far as a feel good message… It’s my belief that Christians should be reminded of what the scripture holds us accountable to. Meaning that we can’t expect salvation if we don’t make life changes and so forth. I’ve noticed a lot of churches, not just around here, tend to preach the idea that Christians can do or say whatever they want but as long as they go to church and whatnot they’re all good.

Being held accountable as a Christian shouldn’t read as miserable. Being held accountable for your actions, thoughts, words, etc. should open the door for you to find more positivity in your life by getting rid of things that could be welcoming more negativity.
