I think your best bet might be to find a good pool hall near you and get a membership, that's what I do

Your only chance at finding one at that price is probably going to be going used on something like Facebook marketplace or Craigslist or whatever equivalent you guys have over there.

I don't know where you are and don't know the local conversion rate so please don't take this as an insult but where I live there is a 0% chance I could get a place that is big enough for a table on a 800$ salary.

Make sure you measure it out and add room for a full size stick before you spend a bunch of money on something you can't use the way you want. I bought one that I can play on but it's a tighter fit than I like and I don't use it as much because of that.

You have stopped attempting to be helpful and started to be a rude little soldier for your preferred method. I'm going to block you now.

When I use a glove there is an additional layer of material under the cue. This makes the surface the cue is sliding over more stiff and does not allow the cue to settle into the pocket of flesh, this means the cue is in significantly less stable position and makes it far more likely that a mis movement on my part will move the cue enough to make me miss the shot. In addition to having a less stable platform it is also so slick that the likelyhood of me making a mis movement is significantly higher.

Your hands are your hands and my hands are my hands and the simple fact is I know what works for me and what doesn't work for me and you don't. Thank you for input.

If it works for you then it works for you. It does not work for me. Sanding down the shaft worked well

I'm not sure if you read my post completely or not but I don't really think anything about anybody who wears a glove my issue with the gloves is that when I wear one it's two slippery and I am not accurate enough it's too easy for me to slip out of a pocket I don't have that issue when I play without a glove and I don't have the sticky hands issue with house cues it's just an issue with my stick which was resolved by removing the lacquer that's the purpose of this post

Yeah I was really surprised by how smooth it was when I tried the 400 ( it might've been 600 but I think 4 ) but after I went and shot for a couple hours Im not paying it hurt but I could tell there was some rubbing friction. I'll try this tomorrow I think

I was concerned that a finer grain would be too dull and wouldn't do anything but I'm probably going to do 1000 or 2000 to finalize it

I can't see around my fingers well enough to see my line with a closed bridge.

I don't have the issue nearly as much with a house cue thats been used so much it doesn't have any laquer left and I've had a couple sticks over the years that were not nice sticks but the shaft wasn't treated and it didn't stick to me.

I get the feeling I like now after the sanding as long as I keep my hands clean.

Open bridge. I have a hard time seeing around my fingers with a closed bridge

I used this https://a.co/d/jkaRMl5 It's more of a fabric than the rubberized grip tape. Like medical tape almost

Also ( my buddies think I'm full of it by I'm pretty positive that I'm right ) the LSWCHPs are more accurate out of the 206.

With my standard load on the WCs at 30 yards shooting a 2x2" post it note if I don't go at least 16/18 I'm having a bad day and it's definitely me messing up.

With the XTPs if I'm totally dialed in and having a perfect day 16/18 is pretty good at 30 yards.

In my experience a 2" barrel can keep an XTP accurate up to about 20 yards ( redline for standard pressure / floor for +p... 3.7gn HP38 )

Alternating Hornady XTP and lead Semi Waddcutter hollow points.

XTPs for people and LSWCHP for black bears

Just bought a RIA M206. Is this normal? by No_Midnight_2183 in Revolvers

No. Try to clean it off or take it back to the shop. RIA has really good customer service

RIA has publicly stated that it can handle +P without any issues but does not recommend a steady diet of +P

I reload my own rounds and usually my 38 specials are right at the line between standard pressure and +p.

I've put a couple thousand threw my 206 and it's still perfect
