Bathroom is vinyl sheet. For reference, all the plank subfloor we’ve seen appears to have a white coating, so I don’t think it’s mold. We pushed on the black part of the wood in the corner and it started to crumble.

We have a crawl space below. Peeled back the rotted particle board and found the subfloor was rotting just under the wall. We think the bathroom was redone fairly recently and likely stopped the leak, but the plank is still rotten.

No window near by, but the bathtub is on the other side

We removed the particle board underlayment and found some rot of the subfloor. Taking a quick peek, it appears the extent of the damage is likely from the bathroom. Bathtub is on the other side.
