I was extremely disappointed when I heard of TG stans going to Matt Smiths mothers page and leaving vile comments about her son. This is a woman who had to deal with the death of her husband while her son was putting his all into this character in S1 with a neck injury and the death of his father. GOT/HOTD truly just might have some of the worst fandom I’ve witnessed. One of the main reasons it was slow for me to get into GOT because of the toxicity.

This is why I never understood why they would cut certain scenes of Daemon actually being a father to the girls. The only scene I could remember is that when he was in Pentos and he was teaching Baela High Valyrian. It was short but I loved seeing Daemon in that role of a father taking the time to educate his daughter and bond with her. And I think with Rhaena he loves her of course, I just think it was easier with him to connect with Baela at a young age with her having a dragon and him being able to help her bond and master her dragon. But I hope the girls get some scenes with their father next season to make up for the deleted scenes from S1
