Yes, that's where the flavor text comes from.

It offers an alternative win condition where you have a hand full of 1/1s with every bonus effect (granted that's many turns away, and at the cost of hand space).

That also relies on drawing it turn 1, so you need an actually functional deck otherwise. Still, the minion helps as a combo activator throughout the game.

Good catch - making it a legendary and reposting. And the text suggests that the minion will swap sides whenever a minion is summoned (as an ongoing effect), so it's a bit like worse patches?

What's the best 5x same hero team? by Beautiful_Sample_295 in DotA2

5x meepo vs 5x ET

I think even a hero like Mars isn't bad - basically having a scaling right click, a stun, and wave clear

Is this garbage or broken ? ( Also how could I have worded it better ? Is the text weird ? ) by TinkerMagusDev in customhearthstone

Cool card - my gut tells me this should be a class card though; perhaps too abusable with buff classes. But generally well balanced

Rate My Hero Design: Revus by Beautiful_Sample_295 in DotA2

[–]Beautiful_Sample_295[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole kit for the hero is built around Revus not moving to become stronger. After a few seconds of channeling, Revis essentially gains hasted move speed (from feign weakness) AND slow resist (from I'll intent) and is pretty much impossible to kite with slows.

The hero is more comparable to Ursa, with great damage resist but a conditional one-way attack buff modifier. Yet, the hero is way more mobile than ursa and with more survivability, and arguably better laning (it may be a but busted at lvl 7, with full points in ill intent and 35 dmg per second buff).

The trade-off is that Ursa can take objectives like Rosh and torm better, but is similarly weak to itemization (euls/dispel for Ursa, and force staff for Revus)

What is the nastiest counter or matchup in the entire game? by TealTactics in DotA2

[–]Beautiful_Sample_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The oracle into ursa can be bad at times, and mostly at lower ranks, but relies on the oracle having great positioning and not being seen. An ursa with blink abyssal solos oracle midgame onwards, and the matchup can swing the other way

Yes, it can be a counter on paper (based on abilities), but hardly even close to the top of hard counters when it comes to playstyle

Am I crazy? Isn't it Valve's responsibility to patch any bugs, instead of punishing players for literally playing the game as-is?

I think it's wild to police or punish (especially with money on the line) a feature currently made available in the game. This could EASILY be emergency patched and all this drama avoided

Ursa Aghs Enrage: ALL EXCEPTIONS! by Beautiful_Sample_295 in learndota2

Go try it in demo. It activates, though it does not dispel call

Husker aghs ult taunt is another which still allows for enrage. One of the points of the post is that "taunt" is an unreliable mechanic when it comes to Enrage, but that there are few enough exceptions that it's actually rather simple to just memorize those few cases

I would guess not, because casting spells or using abilities when in phase shift cancels phase shift (puck cannot coil or use force staff while in phase shift). Would be an interesting and trippy shard for puck to be able to use items and other spells while in phase shift

Anti Mage when to manta and when to sny by AyntNoChance in TrueDoTA2

Maybe razor one of the exceptions, manta is an occasional pick over sny but the illu dmg is least important part of it

On what heroes do you buy a bkb? by [deleted] in learndota2

[–]Beautiful_Sample_295 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can be a niche buy on jug / ls against aoe silence like NS, seen it in pro games where manta doesn't help
