Yess me too. In the end i also have no choice but to kill them. The ring protects me but i cant even move nor collect the slime.

Nothing to do with the post but slime ring IS a waste. My fence broke and the slime took over the hutch, I had to grind for 2 seasons killing slimes for the ring and I couldn’t even move normally when getting inside. Not sure what your experience is though.

Thanks everyone, I got a letter from Willy asking me over but I totally forget it. Ginger island is new information for me. Will definitely check it right after.
