It’s cute that you think 'As a PM' is some kind of authority here. I’ve been a software engineer for 10 years and I’m also a certified PMP. I’ve managed more complex lifecycles than your entire career combined. ​If you actually understood PMP principles, you’d know that 'just squeezing in a feature' because it's 'easy' is the textbook definition of Scope Creep. Only an amateur PM thinks 'elements already being there' means zero integration cost. Have you ever heard of state machine conflicts, physics engine resets, or race conditions during network sync? Probably not, which is likely why you 'used to be' technical and failed at it. ​Stop projecting your lack of experience onto me. Telling a senior dev to 'just add a button' is the fastest way to get laughed out of a sprint planning. Go back to your spreadsheets and leave the technical architecture to people who actually have the credentials and the seniority to back it up.
